When metals prices shot through the roof last year, we saw a marked increase in the number of customers asking where they could dispose of their old pieces. We began purchasing at that time and it has allowed us two additional revenue streams - one for scrap gold and a second for refurbished 'pre-owned' jewelry department. Additionally, we have plenty of replacement melee for our repair shop, purchased at lower prices than our regular sources. That’s correct, at least with us. One is older and does the talking. He is 5 10 and 240lbs. The other is 20's, 5 7 and 140. Used Illinois drivers license. I did an acid test, but it came out good. Not until I ust the medal and links in half did they turn green. They called earlier in the day to ask if we were buying and how to get to our store.
